How to Download Spec Sheets

Tear sheets are a way for professionals to share product information in a visually pleasing, easy-to-read format. A spec sheet will include one product per page, with the image(s) being the main visual, along with desired details such as price, materials, finish and SKU. They can be either client-facing or internal, which is why we give you the control to customise what information they include, depending on the purpose.

Create Spec Sheets from Documents
To create a spec sheet from a document, such as an estimate, proposal or invoice, simply select the item(s) you want to include on the sheet by using the checkbox to the left of the item(s), then click the Actions menu at the top of the document and select Download Spec Sheets.
Note: If you don't select specific items, all items in the document will be downloaded in the spec sheet.

Choose the details you want to appear on the spec sheets by using the toggles next to each one — make sure to scroll down to see all available options. You can also have a copy of the spec sheets sent to your email by selecting the checkbox at the bottom of the modal.
Click Download and the spec sheet will be generated in the background so you can continue working. Once the tear sheet is ready, you will receive a notification in the bell menu in the left navigation — click to download directly to your device. The tear sheet will also be sent to your email if that option was selected.

Enable QR Codes in Spec Sheets
When you create spec sheets from selection boards or selections trackers, you have the ability to include a QR code on each item that has a product link. The QR codes make it really easy for you, your Field crew and subcontractors to quickly scan the selection and pull up product information from the manufacturer, including any manufacturer provided installation guides and technical specification sheets.

To display QR codes on a spec sheet from selections, make sure "Product Link QR Code" is toggled on in the options before you click Download — you will need to scroll down to access this option. Any items that do not have a product link will not include a QR code.
