How to Manage Your Projects

Keeping track of all your projects can be overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be. The Houzz Pro All Projects page allows you to see a summary of all your projects in one place so you can keep on top of your business.

Within the All Projects page, you can customise your view by resizing columns, adjusting filters, searching for keywords, and pinning key projects to the top. You can even change your view from either List View or Kanban (Column) View to better suit your company workflow.

All Projects Page Overview

To access the All Projects page, select the Projects icon from your left navigation.

On this page, your projects are neatly organised so can see the status of each project at a glance. For every project, you will see the project name, client name, view and created dates, location, status, project type, project code, project tags, and project managers.

By default, List View is shown, but you can adjust the view format – either List View or Kanban (Column) View – at the top of your page. Any view changes you make will automatically save, so you won't have to redo your customisation every time the page loads.

List View is the standard format and is a more static view of your projects. In this list, you can search by keyword, sort by column, and filter by status, tags or managers to customise the project order based on what's relevant for your business.

Kanban (Column) View is a more visual representation of your projects. You can organise and move projects between project stages to better track progress, prioritise work, and identify bottlenecks. In this view, you can search by keyword and filter by project tags and project managers. You can also drag and drop projects to move their location in a specific column, or even relocate them to another column.

If you would like to adjust the columns available, select the Customise button.

A new screen will appear where you can toggle on and off the available project status columns. If you would like to add a new project status or edit an existing status, select Manage Status (read How to Change Project Status for more details).

Customise All Projects Page

There are a few ways that you can quickly customise your All Projects page to better showcase the information you need to see. You can resize columns and pin projects to the top for quick visibility.

Resize Columns

To resize columns, hover over a column until you find the column divider. Click and hold the column divider, then move it left or right to make the column bigger or smaller. This is useful if you have columns that require more text and therefore need more space (or vice versa).

Pin Projects

When you have multiple active projects, it can feel challenging to quickly locate high-priority or frequently accessed projects in a long list. With the pin feature, you can add important projects to the top of your All Projects page for easy access.

To pin a project, either click the pin icon to the right of a project's name, or select the three dots icon to the far right of the project row and select Pin Project. Once pinned, a project will appear at the top of the page in both List View (as shown below) and Kanban (Column) View.

To unpin a project, you can either click the pin icon again, click the three dots icon on the pinned project tile and select Unpin Project, or select the three dots icon to the far right of the project row and select Unpin Project.
