Showing Client Savings on Retail Price per Line Item

When creating/editing a product, you have the ability to set the RRP (recommended retail price) on the item. The RRP itself is never shown to clients, however, it is used to calculate the discount which can be displayed to your clients on proposals and invoices.
Note: The discount off of RRP feature is an optional feature and by default, the discount will not be shown to the customer until specifically enabled.
Showing the RRP Discount to Clients
So, how do you set the RRP discount? When creating a proposal or invoice, first you have to make sure to have the Markup column shown in editing mode (if it doesn't show, click the Customise button and toggle on Markup in the Settings).
Now navigate to the line item for which you want to show the discount. When hovering over the Markup field, you will see a calculator symbol appear.

Click on the markup calculator. This will open up a popup that shows the RRP as set up on the product. If you haven't set the RRP on the product, or need to edit it, you can easily do so here. Once entered, you will see the Client Savings value below. To show this detail to the client, make sure the checkbox next to “Show client RRP discount” is selected.

Once you enter/edit the RRP per unit, click Set and you will see the discount shown in the item total on the right as "% off retail".

To make sure the RRP discount is shown to your client, click Preview in the top right of the document. Then click the Settings dropdown next to "Customise what your client can see" on the top, and make sure “Show detailed pricing” in the Pricing section is selected. You will now see the "% off retail" show in the item total(s) that you marked as “Show client RRP discount” — this preview is what your client will see when you share the document.
To hide the RRP discount from a client (after selecting to display) access the edit mode of your proposal or invoice, click the calculator in the Markup column of the relevant line item, and uncheck the box "Show client RRP discount".
